The Garrett County Board of Education voted on November 10, 2020 to move students to a red, fully virtual learning model beginning Thursday, November 12, 2020, and continuing until at least Thursday, December 10, 2020. GCPS is also cancelling all in-person extra-curricular activities, athletic events, and practices effective immediately.

There have been 778 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Garrett County.

Board of Education Executive Session - November 12, 2020

The Garrett County Board of Education will meet in Executive Session on Thursday, November 12, 2020, for the sole purpose of completing the Superintendent’s evaluation. The Executive Session will be held at The Green Turtle, 75 Visitors Center Drive, McHenry, MD, at 12:00 p.m. and is closed to the public.
