      The Garrett County Board of Education voted on November 10, 2020 to move students to a red, fully virtual learning model beginning Thursday, November 12, 2020, and continuing until at least Thursday, December 10, 2020. GCPS is also cancelling all in-person extra-curricular activities, athletic events, and practices effective immediately.

      Anyone with a question or concern may contact public.info@garrettcountyschools.org, and you will receive a response.

      There have been 684 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Garrett County.

      · Effective Monday September 28, 2020 all selected students, Pre k, Kindergarten, and 1st Graders will ride their regular school bus. Bus numbers, stop locations and times are available using the Info Finder i link below or Transportation tab in the students PowerSchool portal.
       
      · If no information appears please contact the Transportation Department at 301-334-8907.
       
      · Students needing to utilize a school bus to and/or from another location other than their home address should send the request to their school so a bus pass notifying the bus driver can be issued.
       
      · As a reminder all students must wear the appropriate face covering while riding the school bus.
